Welcome Makaha Surfside (MSS). MSS Management consists of the MSS BOD (Board of Directors), MSS Office, MSS Security and MSS Maintenance. At the bottom of each page is a contact form where you can simply select a topic and we’ll route your submission to the right resource. All other applications and guidelines are on the Owner and Resident pages.
Parking Structure Accident & Fence Repairs Completed – MSS is Secure
We want to update you about an incident that occurred last night on Friday February 14, 2025. A vehicle crashed through the fence and hit one of the structural pillars in the parking area. An owner’s car was also impacted. HPD responded quickly, and thankfully, no one was injured. The driver fled the scene, and a police report has been filed. Details
New Cloud-Based FOB System – Register Starting February 5
What You Need to Know:
- FOB Registration Starts: February 5, 10 AM – 6 PM
- Registration Continues: February 6 – 8 (10 AM – 6 PM) at the MSS Office
- After February 8: Registration will continue during regular office hours
- Transition Period: February 5 – 19 (Both old and new FOBs will work)
- After February 19: Unregistered FOBs will no longer work
- Mobile App Option Coming Soon! More details will be shared after the system is installed.

Did you receive a mailer from Hawaiiana? The form mailed to all owners asks for your vote on implementing online voting for future matters. Share your opinion and help shape Makaha Surfside’s voting process.
Annual Meeting Packet
The Annual Meeting packet has been mailed to all owners. Please remember to send in your proxies and cast your vote to ensure your voice is heard.
Hawaiiana Software Update to CINC Systems

Surfside Committees
Committees at Makaha Surfside are open to all owners and are essential for conducting research and providing recommendations to the board under its guidance. Each committee is chaired by a non-board member to ensure impartiality, with at least one board member serving as a liaison to maintain alignment with board objectives.
