Dear Homeowners,

I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your participation in our recent

annual meeting. Your active involvement and support have helped to make our community a better place to live.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome our new board members, who were elected during the annual meeting. I am excited to introduce to you our newly elected board members, who will join our board in leading our association forward. I am pleased to welcome Jessica Herzog, as our new secretary, and Michelle Kreklo, as a director. Your willingness to serve our community is commendable, and I look forward to working together to address our challenges and pursue our goals.

At the same time, I would like to personally thank the outgoing board members, Kathy Sowell and Bill Lazu, for their service to our community. Your hard work and dedication have contributed greatly to the success of our association and we are grateful for your contributions.

We covered several important topics during the annual meeting, including the association’s finances, recent concerns and suggestions for the future. Your input and feedback were valuable and greatly appreciated. Your participation demonstrates your commitment to our community, and we are thankful for your involvement.

I am thrilled to let you know that we have launched a new website to keep you informed and engaged with our community. It is designed to provide you with easy access to important information such as community news, upcoming events and documents. You can also find resources for reporting maintenance issues and security incidents and, most of all, contacting the board with your thoughts and concerns. I encourage you to visit makahasurfside.net. I believe that this website will be instrumental in keeping us connected and informed.

As your President, I am proud of our community and the dedication that each and every one of you has shown in making it a great place to call home. Your continued support and involvement in the governance of our association is vital to ensuring its success and the well-being of our community.
