I retired from the US Air Force after 22 years active duty. I was a Security Policeman for the first 10 years, serving in Vietnam, Thailand, England and numerous main land bases. My last 12 years with the Air Force I was a criminal investigator with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations where I served as NCOIC of investigations at two assignments and as a member of the AFOSI IG team in Washington DC. I retired from the Air Force as E-8, Senior Master Sergeant.
After retiring from the Air Force I joined the Sutter County California District Attorney Office as a Criminal Investigator. During my time with the District Attorney Office, I prepared criminal cases for trial. I retired after 20 years as the Assistant Chief Investigator, supervising 6 Criminal Investigators and 2 Victim Witness Advocates.
I have an Associate Degree In Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force and Bachelors form Golden Gate University in Business Administration.
While stationed in England I met my best friend and Wife Jean. In 2008 we bought our unit with the specific intent of having a retirement home in Hawaii, Makaha Surfside is that home. We do not live full time at Makaha, however we visit every chance we get.
